It puts all the classic consoles in a Palm
Since I have removed the subject from the emulators for Palm, I cannot forget to me the magnificent LJP, abbreviations of “Little John PalmOS”. Developed by Yoyofr, prolific programmer to whom also we must the versions for Palm de Doom and Quake. Tinnus also has helped lately in the project, reason why I do not want to leave it without naming. Thanks to both!

The interface is very worked |

This emulator is, in fact, a fusion of which existed previously, to which has improved in some cases, and a common interface has occurred them. Advantages of the open code. By the way, I am useful to remember that, like it happened with ScummVM, one is a project of free software, reason why the source code is available for all that one that interests to him, and the program in himself is of free distribution.
The platforms emulated by LJP are:
- Nintendo NES
- Nintendo SuperNES (Super Nintendo)
- Nintendo Gameboy (also the games of the Color)
- Sega Genesis (Megadrive)
- Sega Masters System
- Sega Game Gear
- and known others less like the NeoGeo Pocket, the Bandai Wonderswan and, recently, the games of Atari 2600
Considering the hundreds of games that there are for each of them, the truth is that we must to entertain hours and hours to us. And no longer we are forced to be seated in front of the computer!

Once we have installed the file in the Palm by the habitual method, the first time you execute that it automatically will be decompressed, creating the folders necessary to lodge the games and the games saved in card SD. Or \ Programs is only necessary to copy the ROMS of your games in the folder of SD “PALM \ LJP \ Plataforma_correspondiente \ Roms”, using a card reader SD, a program for Palm that allows to accede to the card from the PC, or a similar method, and when you take the program again, they will leave in the menu the installed games. The documentation that comes with the program, explains all the process in detail. Only recordaros that if roms is compressed in ZIP, will work equal, but you will save a few megas in the SD that never is of more.
And it already is. Some consoles as the SNES needs much memory heap, reason why in my E2 not run, but NES and Gameboy, that is those that more wanted to play, go of wonder. the LJP is already quite stable, and in days it is predicted to send a new version, that surely will work far better still. I leave you since you enjoy your new portable console!
Published: it seems that the page of Tinnus is fallen. You can find this program in the page of Yoyofr, the other component of the equipment.
Published: the page of the program returns to be online but in a new direction.

Excelnte Post!
Thanks I read. I hope that the subjects that treatment are interesting.
Tendre that to prove this emulator, mainly after the success of scummvm for handspans, with which I am recalling games like the monkey island, which they are those of my age.
Already that the question is engaged in them, but… that is the “essential thing” of this type of consoles? I mean, whereupon game me recomendais to prove the emulator in a E2?
That depends completely on the consoles which you have been playing for years. Because those are those that you are more going to enjoy. I for example had a NES to which I played much, and are the games that I like more now.
On NES it is very well this page: http://www.retrones.com/ and in the article on the history of the NES is listing the best games than they were leaving (in the connection “How it was the NES”). But good, there is ranking that way with the best games of each console.
Of other consoles, the games of Gameboy Color go very well in the E2 and have good graphs: I recommend all to you of Zelda, the Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, and the Pokemon (that enough is entertained, never had even played one).
Of Sega never I had console, so I have not proven much. But good, already I have given some suggestions you so that you try
