Enjoy your portable media player Palm (R)
For some time now has been popularized portable media players. Apparatus for a reduced size, with a display of good characteristics, and large storage capacity to store movies, music, photos, etc..

Example of a portable media player
But what I am describing more than a Palm? A LifeDrive, for example, has a screen resolution of 320x480 with a very good picture quality, and an internal hard drive 4Gb. It is the ideal device for watching movies at any time. But any other model reciende Palm does not stay behind. By having a slot for SD cards, can carry multiple gigabytes of data in each of them, and because of its small size, in the case that we have for our Palm can carry a few, bringing the amount of storage available is impressive . One of 1Gb SD card is now worth around 60 €?. Let's see what gives them this space:
- As a movie that is going to be a Palm, does not need the original decision, because the screen is much smaller than the monitor of our computer, for all practical purposes, after a conversion to lower resolution, we may well have a two-hour film, with good quality, at about 250MB. In a 1Gb card, we will fit for both films 4, which gives to move the dead rats during uncos days, if we have to be away from home.
- If we talk about music, the situation is similar. A music CD standard 60 minutes, compressed into MP3 sound quality, will occupy about 70Mb. Therefore, in each of 1Gb SD card can take about 12 hours of music, enough to be a good season entertained without having to re-connect your Palm to your computer.
- And we must not forget the images. It can save the pictures that we took in case of the Treo. If, on the contrary, we have the camera in your phone, you can move the pictures by bluetooth to the Palm, leaving the phone off to make more. We may also take over if some of our loved ones, and so on.
It is clear therefore that a Palm can serve well as portable media player, but with all the functionality offered to us already. Therefore, later on I will explain how we can bring our films to features of the PDA, and which programs can see them once you download it. However, as always, with free programs and free.

Greetings coridales ...
Congratulations, Mark, by reference to such an excellent start in the Palm world (I refer to your blog).
It is in these adventures start there's something you can not do, and I looked at several pages to find answers: Is it possible to receive a Bluetooth mp3 and burn it with the 'memory of the user?. Let me explain: receive a Palm without a SD or MMC mp3 (TX for more details).
When I try, I get options to save on the card (which does not exist) or play it, after which it disappears.
I installed the Getdeblu believe that would help me, but nothing ...
Pictures and images achievement save it.
Thank you very much in advance to anyone with a good answer.
