How to delete locked files

Surely you have ever tried to delete a file on your Palm, and not saying that you have left is locked. The same is true both from the option of trying to erase one's own launcher for the Palm, like using a more comprehensive file management, for example Filez.

A first attempt to avoid the protection is to make a soft reset: press the key direction "up" and keep it, press the reset button (it resets and others have already been explained at the time). On some occasions after doing the file will no longer be blocked, but in others, it remains impossible to erase it. What to do in these cases? There is still an opportunity to resign before doing a hard reset.

In TamsPalm show a second option: using Filez, we have to change the name of the creator (creator ID) of the file, for example to "xxxxxx". Then do a soft reset, and the file in question no longer be protected. We can delete it, auqnue was protected for a reason: surely it was being used by the system. So when you delete will be reset the Palm. Nothing happens, if we have not deleted a file you really should not, everything will continue to operate normally, and have managed to remove what we were looking for.
