Prevents the memory DbCache is when you start your Palm frag
Reviewing the page Dimitry I realized that another program released a few days ago: UnCache. When you start the Palm, which explains, by default sends a signal that is being reset to all applications installed, so many of them are loaded into memory and then discharged, for doing nothing. This has two consequences: the Palm takes longer to boot and memory DbCache fragments.
UnCache serves precisely to choose which applications should receive the signal from reset and which do not. In theory, only the hacks, alarms, backup programs ... In short, programs that run in the background on our Palm, require such notification. So we can put them on the list, and ignore all others.
UnCache is a utility that will let you directly determine what applications get Launch code 5.
"What is Launch Code 5?" you might ask. It is to launch code that is sent to ALL applications when palm is resetting. "ALL ?!?!?" you might ask, "Is not that too much?" Well ... yes, so PalmPowerups fixed it. Pretty much when your palm resets every application is launched separately and told that palm is resetting. Most applications do not much care about this, and do nothing with this, but they still have to be loaded, called, and Unloaded, this takes time, and on this NVFS device DbCache the fragments as well.
UnCache Solves all these problems by Letting you select what gets run at reset. In general Alarm, Backup, and hack-like applications need this, or they will not activate automatically.
This application can also siginifantly reduces your boot times, and speed up the system in general. So what are you waiting for, go FREE your cache!
I've tried it on my E2 and the result has been remarkable: from 4.6 Mb in the contiguous DbCache I were to boot, has gone to 6.5 Mb (data obtained through DbCacheTool). This, apart from increasing the stability of the device, you can assume that a program or game that needed a lot of RAM, can run on the Palm nothing else to do a reset, while without the UnCache there is no way to make it work.
The program is not free, worth about $ 6, but rather can improve the stability of our Palm with NVFS.

Marcos, to take away this "signal" that is put on the list, x example to the hacks, backups, etc..: When they're called, are normally open?
Thank you.
Hello Nicobar.
It is quite the contrary, programs that put on the list are the only ones who do receive such a signal to start. Programs running in the background, as those who have alarms or scheduled tasks, or hacks or DAS, they need to be on the list to load at startup. If not not work, because PalmOS is not known to exist and they have to be running from the beginning.
How do we know what the alarm, etc?
The alarms are managed by the program where the program. Normally in the Calendar, Tasks and Notes. If you install other programs that generate alarms, will also be included.
E2 is my urgent and stay locked ... ... ... hard reset: you explain
I lost the sensitivity of the screen which would not be the explanation.
frameworks are not as used but what you lose install mc page as trial version and install free and so was the misfortune of hard reset
Well, from what I tested as you install it does not do anything even with the Palm, so you should not give problems: it is after we installed a program to remove an initial charge of the system.
I've tried it on my E2 and did not give any problems, but maybe you use a program that is incompatible with the UnCache. Try installing it right after making a hard reset to see if he is still hanging the PDA.
So as a small contribution you commented that the ispin and recal are sopechoso to ignite the palm and end the battery, this will resuleve recalibration and removing the screen after the recal.
The second problem UnCahe might be caused by the Ispin with UDMH, the program recalibration Dig Fix (as we saw earlier, a recalibration of Progrma Ispin could give problems)
As always, thanks for your quick responses.
