Abacus Wrist PDA: wristwatch with Palmer

A few days ago I read finally received the Fossil WristPDA had expected. This is a wristwatch that runs 4.1 Palmer, so it acts as a PDA. He has done a very interesting review, first apparatus itself, and later of applications that can run.

A detailed view of the clock

Operating system: Palm OS ® 4.1
Processor: Motorola Dragonball VZ 66MHz Super ™
Memory: 8MB (RAM), 4MB (Flash)
Resolution: 160 x 160 pixel grayscale 16 levels
Light Fund electronics
Touch Screen
Connections: USB IRDA (v1.2a) Battery: Lithium-ion rechargeable (26 hours without recharging off until the total)

It is a digital clock bracelet not much bigger than a normal, but have installed the Palm 4.1 operating system, serving as a PDA monochrome. The screen resolution is 160x160 pixels, but because the smaller screen, displaying an image of high quality. Applications are checked with four buttons that takes the side, plus a stylus that comes hidden in the strap, but we can also use a stylus normal. You can connect to any PC and Palm, because it has a mini-USB port.

The mini-USB connector is used to synchronize with the PC and charging the battery

With regard to software that can run, I was surprised to see that is quite broad. As is basically a Palm monochrome low-resolution, any application that works in them, operate in the Abacus. To check, Leo shows us how to run smoothly applications default Calendar, Contacts, Notes and Tasks, as well as other third-Today, the clone of the same screen name on the Pocket PC, the dictionary BDicty, the suite compatible with MS Office Documents to Go, the document reader Plucker, and many more.

Leo says that if we make one, is currently the sole distributor TigerDirect, although there is also the second-hand pages for this purpose. In short, an entire small wonder that surely will please most fans of the Palm.
