Now, Skype on PalmOS
The wait was short. If the other day still talking about a gateway for Skype on the Palm, yesterday came the first version of this program that is compatible with the Treo 650, and it seems that the versions for Treo 600 and 700w are also on the way. With him and you can call, receive calls and send text messages through the Skype network. In PalmDubai give the news and on-site EQO (the creator of this program) we can find the impressions of the first users.

Skype: phone calls over the Internet Free
This is an application written in Java, so you have to install the J2ME virtual machine, which already explained when we talk about the web browser Opera Mini. Being the first version, you'll have plenty of mistakes but the important thing is that it is already here, and soon will have a stable version.

Well, as I live abroad regularly use Skype to talk to my country, and I would really comfortable. if I were a cellular phone operator would make me tremble because their services will not be needed in the future, at least that is what ofrescan Internet access from anywhere. greetings
The voip such as Skype is great to talk with people in other countries. But still depends on having an Internet connection nearby. Having a Treo and not being able to talk on skype nothing but near a computer, it takes away all the benefits (and for that talk from the computer). Mobile operators have the advantage of having coverage anywhere.
Combined with the voip phones with wifi, and that one day there will be wireless coverage throughout the city, are the arena in which we will be able to really harness all this to the fullest. Time to time.
Let me know if you can download the Skype Internet calls or in the Palms Drive and Life. We thank you very much.
