Your Palm through bluetooth listens
If your Palm has connectivity bluetooth, you will find the program Audio Softick Gateway very useful. This program captures the sound of the apparatus it redirects and it through bluetooth with high quality (until 340kbps) to any device that is compatible with the profile of audio advanced A2DP. This profile of audio of high quality is not implemented in the battery bluetooth that the Palm brings by defect. Between these compatible devices bluetooth is included:
- Earpieces stere
- Computers with installed drivers A2DP
- Kits of audio stere for the car
- Loudspeakers A2DP

To transmit wirelessly audio of high quality
With this program, and a compatible receiver bluetooth, we will be able to listen to without cables the sound of the games, a reader of audiolibros, a reproducer MP3, or any other program of the style that we use in our Palm.
The number of compatible apparatuses bluetooth with this program is quite great, and to adapt itself to the characteristics of each, automatically it will modify the speed of sampling of the audio one, and it even can emit in format monkey. In addition, a post-processing incorporates filter of, to improve the quality of the sound when it is used audio to low rates of bits. Some devices with which the compatibility has been verified are:
- Helmets Plantronics Pulsar 590A
- Sport helmets bluetooth Hi-Fi Bluetake i-Phone BT420EX
- Helmets stere bluetooth iPAQ (made by Logitech)
- Adapter USB bluetooth for PC Bluetake A2DP inable
- Helmets stere Samsung SBH-100
- TEN naviPlay™ (wireless helmets stere bluetooth for iPod™)
Really, a way simple to listen to with great quality the audio one of our Palm, and without having to worry to us about troublesome cables.
Published: Javier has contributed an interesting advice to choose well our auricular free hands:
I come proving with several auricular free hands bluetooth that are used for cellular and they do not work since they are not STERE and they do not support norms A2DP, so the unique alternative is to buy the Bluetooth Earpieces Stere, with the word either Stere already means that they support A2DP. Conclusion: when they pay attention must say Stere.
The problem is that the price is superior at free hands enough bluetooth normal.

It seems to me a good article of a software that was becoming essential, I I do not know as those of palm do not include things like this in the factory software.
By the way… Where with himself drivers A2DP for computer?
Yes, before certain things in Palm they are too obstinate to change. A long time ago they must have including bluetooth 1,2 (now already 2,0) and one good battery of the protocol.
Profile A2DP fodder that comes simply including in drivers bluetooth of the adapters USB (the one that comes by defect in Windows XP I doubt it includes that it, like so many other things).
For example drivers BlueSoleil that brought mine supports A2DP. But it is necessary to unload the last version (1.6):

Luck
there are next rumors that ipod tendran bluetooth integrated… while palm follows dandonos this flexibility, not habra because to invest in other products. by the way so soon some of these audiophones can adquirire, if there is some portable… serious good one that in the future it is possible to be placed a chip of nanotecnologia in the ear and olvidanos of audiophones… jeje
Bluetooth is more comfortable for certain things, but it does not seem me the ideal to transfer the songs of the HD to the Ipod:
The speed of transference of bluetooth 1,2 is of 723kbps, and new bluetooth only 2,0 arrives at 3mbps. Compared with 480mbps of USB 2,0… I prefer to continue using the cable and to save the delay.
But the idea of implants in the ear does not seem bad I believe
that hevisto to me in some film Gattaca perhaps?
good, I talk about but the ability to listen in wireless earpieces. at the moment for that it is necessary to use an external small box that is connected (for example to ipod) that it is not very I practice.
by the way that wireless USB already this in way, and although has been delayed, seems that if saldra enough someday. bluetooth podria to be obsolete http://www.usb.org/
It goes, had not stopped to me to think that bluetooth was for the earpieces. Good note
Although the idea to have to be abreast of the batteries of the earpieces, besides those of the apparatus, does not attract too much to me.
The wireless USB, on the other hand, yes seems a good idea. To see if we ended those thousands of cables that surround the computer. Printers, escáneres, and others, already have their own feeder, so we can eliminate the one of data without having to put batteries to them.
I have a Palm Tungsten e2 and nonstory with the CD original for installation and Drivers. Where I can accede to the content of these free.
I have tried to lower them in Palm.Inc, Palm Desktop 4.1.4e for Windows and are damaged I cannot install them.
Thanks.
Excellent post… that the earpiece bluetooth that I have is generic and apparently is only supported by standard bluetooth used by Audio Gateway…
You have information about as devices are compatible with Audio Gateway? or like recognizing them?
Greetings
Hello, somebody knows if the Free Hands Bluetooth for cellular support the norms Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), if this is thus, would be perfect to be able to listen to mp3 of palm, no?
If somebody knows something warns, that he is something that I come thinking from ahce time.
Explanation: I say free hands with bluetooth for cellular, since these are much more cheap that the earpieces with bluetooth.
A greeting to all!
Javier
hello, it would want to know if “freeware” is no some alternative similar to bluetooth audio gateway of softic. For my convenience, and many but
