Interesting page on the Palm TX

For holders of this excellent PDA from Palm, there is a page that collects a lot of interesting information about this device, and that may add more in the future on other models. His name is Palm Facts & Faqs and his (only for now) section devoted to the TX, we will find enough material:

Published: Unfortunately, this page has disappeared. However, we can recover their content thanks to the fantastic Wayback Machine Project Internet Archive. I've replaced the original links with links to the archived versions.

  • First, a compilation of analysis to magazines and blogs have made about this device. To learn more about the TX if you're thinking of buying, or just see what is said about it.
  • A very useful to select the software you install on it is the list of compatible software. It is very extensive, and she tested the programs are grouped in three categories: those who are working properly (the majority), those who work partially or mistakes, and those who do not work directly. Although the date of last update is Nov. 30, 2005, so that you can ever since the developers have updated their programs by adding compatibility with the TX. Also included are three programs free in the end they added some features to the TX that users missed less.
  • There is also a list of compatible accessories, but for now the only thing that tells us is that, because of the same size and shape of the T5 and the TX, the sleeves of the two are compatible.
  • In the section of frequently asked questions, answered some questions from users of the TX, referring to the battery, the soft and hard reset, access to the SD card, and even some such as whether the TX is really blue or black (question that we all do).

Gran misterio ¿la TX es en realidad azul o negra?
TX is the great mystery is really blue or black?

  • In the list of bugs fortunately appears only a loss that can have our TX, when we reset, about the setup for right-handed or left-handed user. Hopefully you see an early solution to this problem. Published: I knew I had seen a program that corrects this: Handedness.
  • Now that we have recent information on the SD cards killer, we will come very well this list of SD cards compatible with the TX, which also details his punctuation in the test VFSMark, a diagnostic program for SD cards.
  • The section of tricks is still empty, but for which no one is left with the win, in PalmAddicts talked some time ago of some tricks that many people do not know about the TX.
  • And as a tip, we are linking a pair tutorials on how to convert a DVD to watch on our PDA, using DVD Decrypter as Ripped DVD, and AutoGK as encoder.

In short, a page with interesting information about the TX, and that depends on contributions to grow, so if you want and you can ayudadles sending more content or making a small donation to their PayPal account.
