It eliminates the annoying humming of the screen of the LifeDrive or the TX
The screens of some Palm with time begin to produce an annoying humming. We already spoke at the time in depth of the causes, which Palm thinks on the matter, and how to solve it: to change the frequency of the internal bus with a program of overclocking. The problem is that these programs are not gratuitous.
Luckyly, via TamsPalm we discovered that in HacknDev they have created WineHack, a small gratuitous program that stops the annoying humming in the Palm with XScale processor: Tungsten T3, T5, E2? (to read more down), LifeDrive and Palm TX. By the sight it works, although it seems that if we have a program of overclocking working at the same time, they can take place you hang. It is an experimental and developing program, so there will be to follow it to see how it evolves.
Important: at the time of unloading the file, in the note section we were this (too hidden) warning:
You notice: This tiny program attempts to kill screen whine on the Palm TX and LifeDrive. It may work on to other XScale-based devices ace well, but this is untested. It will probably put non XScale devices into to reset loop. DO NOT install it, if you're unsure.
By all means I did not see it and, she would have seen although it, would have tried equal, since my Tungsten E2 yes takes a processor Intel XScale. Nevertheless the result was that, after installing it in my E2, this one entered a curl of resets continuous. Luckyly the trick of autorun, after doing warm reset, allowed me to take Filez and to erase the problematic file. Of all ways, to have a daily backup of all the data thanks to NVBackup never is of more, to avoid to lose important information by something like this.
So if your Palm is not a LifeDrive or a TX, taken care of much with the program. Perhaps but it is a model of the named ones, today is the last day that tendgáis that to support the annoying noise, thanks to the boys of HacknDev.

Thanks! already me a little flat tapeworm the small noise.
Excellent. with the PXA Clocker it manages to underclockear my T3 and with that it manages to remove the noise to the screen, but I have not managed to remove to him to the noise to the Zire72 from my lady with any configuration in PXA Clocker… this WineHack servira?
Then reason why I see has a processor Intel PXA so it could work, but seeing what happened with my E2, estate preparation just in case.
Excellent, it manages to eliminate the noise of screen of my TX.
When tapeworm also had my Zire 71 a small humming in the screen.
I have problemilla with warp speed. After qualify it to eliminate the noise of the screen, it makes very well. But decidi to also use my reproductive TX as and is that when warp speed this activated, skips the songs. It reproduces second and it jumps to the following song. Somebody knows to that it must?
In my experience using programs for underclock the video and programs audio you must leave them without underclock because this happens…
Mmmm… you agradezo MrAnderson. Tendre that to leave deshabilitado when the Pocket Tunes uses. Thanks.
