Gadgets will always be so many different as types from people
In this time in which we lived, in that the great companies are convincing to us that I must use a unique and incredible apparatus that satisfies all the needs with all the users, has liked to find me a reflection of I read, one of my gurús in these subjects, that me has returned to put the feet in the ground.
Between the vortex of devices that compete for being our companions all the day it is quite difficult to choose one that adjusts to our specific needs; there will be who wish to be connected all the day, those that wish music with the greater possible quality, those that they wish a device totally multimedia, those that need an extension their PC, etc…
Luckyly, for each and every one of the profiles of user a focused Device exists, thus we can see iPod for the lovers of music, the Blackberry for which they cannot be disconnected, the Archos for that they are interested in multimedia to top, the readers of e-books for which they want to read as if it was a physical book, the Smartphones for which looks for communication and productivity, the PPC `s and Palms for which they wish an extension of his computer, and sinfín of more or less well-known devices which they try to cover two or more profiles.
For me I read is right all the. It is not necessary more than to pay attention to other industries that already have more time: exists a unique model of automobile or a great variety? Yes, cars multipurpose like for example the last SUV that try to be simultaneously all-terrain, utilitarian and even sport car exist. But also it has sport, utilitarian, all-terrain, monovolumes… that make a single thing, for that only want a thing (and done well).
On the other hand, I read concentrates in the decision of the inexperienced buyer, and of how being useful that does not know what these apparatuses are going to give of himself, or which are their real needs, it is influenced by the companies that try to sell to him what they want (something who noncritic, in the consumer society which we have accepted, marketing is the king).
