Planner annual activity simple and practical
Anyone who carries some time using your Palm will already discovered the tremendous value of implementing Agenda. With its simplicity to add new appointments, and news of the day, week and month, becomes the tool and very useful. However, its design is intended for tasks rather forthcoming. Surely on other occasions we need to see things more in perspective, for example entire year at once, for some days to allocate specific task.
Here is where the scene Holiday Planner, a free annual planner very useful if, as its name suggests, began with the aim of enabling us to allocate vacation days that we have available throughout the year. However ha ido grow, and is useful for sharing any other task that we do throughout the year.
Share the work throughout the year
The view is that we get to the start of the current year, with 365 boxes spread over 12 rows, representing the months. Initially all the boxes are empty, and we'll go where we want to stay by checking for activity as appropriate, making tap into them. The program lets you set various tasks, which are assigned a different color, and at the bottom displays a meter boxes that have marked, or that we are available to mark, if we set a maximum number of days available for that activity in the year. Let's see a little more detail their use:
- To mark one day, edit mode is activated by pressing the button with the pin, located below left, and done this we tap in the days we want to mark. A tap marks the whole day, two only the morning and three in the afternoon. With fourth tap the day we leave again blank. To change this year, pressing the buttons above or below the Palm.
- By default shows the number of days marked in the current year and category, the total number of days available in each category is configurable preferences (between 1 and 365.5). Making tap in the number of days alternating between numbers marked and available.
- Making tap into the lyrics of one month (to the left of the screen), will zoom in that month. This zoom works like the principal. To return to it, simply click on the number of the year, in the upper right corner of the screen.

- The drop-down list of categories that corner controls. In each category can configure day total available for this year, the month in the year that will begin in the full view, allow or not to add notes of up to 160 characters each day of the year, permit or not also mark the days of the end week, choose a category that is shown superimposed over the current (useful to see where they overlap), and of course choose the color that is filled with boxes in the light of the category.
- In penú Preferences can also set two other options: boxes to drag the stylus for the hearing (by default only can make one at a time), and make the program we confirm the deletion of a box when it involves losing a text note.
As we see, a simple program with a very specific use. It will be very useful for sharing our work throughout the year, avoiding matching on the same day, or we leave everything to the last month. Only comment is that the premium version includes integration with Agenda Palm, although this feature was causing problems in the new Palm with NVFS so in this latest version was eliminated.
