A5, A new way of managing the schedule and tasks
One of the reasons that the Palm have become famous for is its powerful information management software, simple and easy to use on a daily basis. However, the manner in which our planning is the show that is, and maybe some users would prefer more options to customize it. That is where A5, a free program that uses databases directly from the Calendar and Tasks, to show our information in a different way. Even includes the option of saving our day, where we target what we want in a new page every day.

An overall view of the week
A5 allows us to use two new views: grid and list, very useful to see at once all the tasks scheduled for this week, this month, and so on. Rather than focus on the tasks, the goal is to see when each is scheduled to make a composition of its distribution throughout the election period.

The grid and list view
By using the data directly from standard applications for the Palm, which change with one of them will be reflected in the other. Besides using the categories that we have created, and can be edited seamlessly. But adds A5 has a high degree of customization for the views. By filters can choose the category, priority, or type of event to show, in addition to choose whether to display the task list or not. Elelgir can also display the current day, seven days next week, current, the current month, and so on. A5 allows us to the definition of five different views (in addition to the grid in sight), so that each one was customize to our liking.
Aesthetically it is also highly customizable, with an option to define the color of the text and background of the entries, by category, and even assign icons. You can also assign a special appearance to the tasks that begin with a specific character (which in the documentation called the prefix). The result is a much more visual.

Assigning colors and icons to categories
Although A5 operates as an independent program, there are two hacks that replace the main view or weekly schedule of Palm, for the views of A5. If we want these user hacks into a device with Palm OS 5, we will have to use YAHM (manager hacks compatible with this version of the operating system). For older appliances, any manager worth hacks.
The price to pay for so many possibilities for design, is a panel configuration with a large number of options. Fortunately If a user manual which explains one by one, as well as a quick guide. As a final comment that the program is available in many languages, including Spanish and Catalan.

It seems to me that it had seen in my many searches of software for Palm, but I have not tested yet ... seems to be a good alternative (especially for free) to Agendus, but I only attack a doubt: I've tested Your TE2? to see how stable it is
Greetings!
Like Lithium I also had what looked at one of my many searches for the network, but those never CREI a program of free data management was so powerful it is so good that I'm going to give Agendus unstable air to thank Marcos for an excellent recommendation.
What I used in my E2, so do not worry, is going smoothly
I have not tried the hacks, but if problems were uninstalled and give it. Remember to use YAHM for PalmOS 5.
I do not like the Agendus, I usually flee the programs that consume too much RAM, and the A5 is quite the contrary. In addition it had more features than I needed.
The sight of the week is great, and the icons and colors, with a bit of time, give it a nice appearance. We have to take a little time learning how to customize it, but ultimately worth it.
It looks great, but at first I had problems resets for installing programs on the treo, and I have time which has become very stable, I understand that for Palm OS 5.x are not recommended the hacks, such Correra in this application a Treo 650?
The hacks are completely optional, that there is only used if you want the program is integrated with Calendar, and Sample in certain views.
I have not installed the hacks, I use the program independently and is very stable. For arriesgarte not, make a backup of your Treo with the first NVBackup, and if it becomes unstable with the program, retrieve the backup and will be as if it never would have installed.
Sorry for the joke: p
