The PDA of tungsten

The well-known service of geographic searches Google Maps is finally available for equipment with operating system PalmOS. • It allows to make zoom lens to move away to us and to approach to us with great soltura, and in the Palm with navigator of five directions, this one can be used to move by the maps without needing using the touch screen (very useful for the Treo, thus it is not necessary to remove stylus).
• By all means, like his older brother, it allows to look for all type of services: pharmacies, hotels, restaurants, pizzerías… everything what lack can do us when we arrived for the first time at a city.

• The unloaded maps temporarily stay in cache, so it is not necessary to unload them again if we simply want to return to see the map. Also, is at any moment the amount of data unloaded in the session, to control the cost.

Although already a version of Google Maps in Java existed, unfortunately was not compatible with the PDA Palm. It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good, and now we can enjoy Google Maps like native application for PalmOS. Once we verify the compatibility of Google Maps with our equipment, we only must unload and install the program in the Palm. Although it is said that it is the version for Treo, is really compatible with all the equipment with PalmOS 5.
