Get any file on your Palm, RAM
Anyone who has tried to transfer files to your Palm, either by infrared, bluetooth, or simply hotsync, will realize that needs to be installed in Palm knows a program that handle the file type that we send, or the transmission will be rejected. For example, to convey an MP3 will be necessary to have installed a player like Real Player.
Some time ago we saw that with the little free utility Getdeblu, we can set the Palm to receive any type of file, and define what directory of the memory card to save it after him. However, you may want to save these files in the main memory, for example because our Palm has no slot for memory cards.

We can save files received much RAM as in the SD card
Getdeblu not serve us to store files in RAM, but TeksFiles that it will. TeksFiles, like Getdeblu allows receive any type of file into our Palm without having installed a program that knows handle it, but also has the option to save these files we receive both the memory card (eg SD) as in the main RAM.
Another useful feature is fairly easy to move files between SD and RAM (and vice versa), which can come either to use the RAM of the PDA as an intermediate step to move files from an SD card to another. The program allows to use a temporary directory to make the process easier.

We can also export memos as a text file
Finally, TeskFiles has the possibility to export Memos (text notes) of our Palm, as a separate text files (extension. Txt). With so many small utilities, no doubt this is a program that can save us a lot of time in more than one occasion.

Excellent discovery… that clarifies my doubts for some time but had no response so far.
Sos brilliant!
Excellent Post
Greetings
let me see if understand. I use the dictionary much WDIC and the database is in the SD card. I feel that if the spare battery could move on to internal memory (read the SD card spends more drums). Does the program would be able to find them and use them since ahì? Or this program is to sòlo stored files?
greetings!
@ Delldor: had in mind the doubt that I'd raised, so when I saw this program I decided to talk to you and all those who have the same need.
@ MrAnderson: Edison thank you very much.
@ Carlos: the program lets you copy such a database in RAM. To find out if the program will be able to find it, I think we have no choice but to try.
hello would like to know how the program is called for data to pass my palm what happens is that buy the CD but no thanks traia
It's called Palm Desktop. You can get the program and CDs that came with your Palm.
hello again a question to you who are more expert: I download into my computer and a calculator hp50g want to raise my palm to my questions I need is some correlation program for ????? thanks
I do not know if the HP50g can be emulated in the Palm. With a ROM of the HP48g yes you can use an emulator.
Thank you for the care to comment on the program. I'll let you in finding an equivalent free to share…
In combination of TeskFile (test while) and FileZ he managed to make several interesting things such as pass-TX without my card until next week-MP3s and make the PTunes that comes with it recognized.
This will change the extension to the song in question (in my PC) and the dispatch by BT, then change the properties of the file so that it recognizes the PTunes.
I had to do that because I do not directly receive the mp3; without appearing "Save card" or Run (then automatically CLEAR). I tried to ram access memory (which I suppose is stored to run the song) but nothing.
Any idea?
but if DePue and file received in the palm of my RAM to get what I want, would not be possible to transfer it to computer without using the Go or bluetooth? not as Pen Drive
thanks
