Instant messaging and VoIP calls are free for Palm with Gizmo Project
For those who do not know yet, Gizmo Project is an instant messaging program and free calls over the Internet, competition from Skype. The PC version has been available for quite some time, but the cause of which appears in this blog is that, unlike the latter, the boys of Gizmo Project have developed a version for Palm devices:

At last our Treo can be used as a VoIP phone
- It is a program without time limit or functionality, and downloading is free, although of course we need to use an Internet connection for our Palm contracted with our operator. Or not, as we have seen how our Palm connect to the Internet via the PC, in many ways, taking advantage of the Internet connection we already have.
- Lets see who is online, add contacts and communicate with our contacts in the instant messaging networks AIM, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, GoogleTalk, iChat among many others.
- It supports a number of Palm devices: Treo 600, Treo 650, Treo 680, Treo 700p, Sony UX-50, Tungsten T3 and Palm Zire.
- The program can be downloaded to your computer and then install it hotsync, or download it directly from the Internet at the Palm. You only need to visit this site.
- Gizmo Project for PalmOS runs in the background, so they do not interfere with the normal use of the Palm. When we receive a new message, it will notify us with a sound, vibration or a warning, as we have set. Can be configured to have multiple messaging accounts at once on the same team, and has a history of talks.
- From time connectivity to the network of AOL and MSN messaging is already available, while other networks will be supported soon. It is expected even bear Networks Jabber, widely used in universities and companies.

Gizmo Project brings instant messaging and free calls to the Palm
In short, something that users of PalmOS we enjoyed waiting a long time. Is not new to instant messaging, as there were programs for functions such as Agile messenger, ChitChat lite, IM + Messenger, AOL, mundu IM, Jabber Palm, and even online services like eMessenger, as we said Leo. But that does VoIP calls are a great novelty, something many have wanted to take a long time. And if it integrates instant messaging with VoIP, with support for almost all existing networks, you can not ask for more. Congratulations Gizmo Project by betting on PalmOS!
Commenting that in addition to Palm OS versions have been removed for Nokia phones and the famous Linksys Wi-Fi.

CCIA bye and the top e2
Hello everybody! to see if anyone help me with this program ... as hell to see my list of achievement in msn? The other thing I have not even tried, because I have a palm tx and I do not even reached the external microphone to commission ...
If someone helps me, it would be very grateful!
The truth is that I believe that this report is completely wrong, first, does not allow me to connect with other messaging networks, second, does not support voip for palm, he said that I have an additional TX with a microphone and not There is no menu or anything in it that says absolubto voip. only the client that is for windows or mac brings the support. The most you can do with this is to send a message written across the network gizmo, so I was really unusable, because I have installed the VeriChat. This is actually taken from a dryer. If someone really shows me that this is not so appreciate it.
I agree with Max, the only version for palm is supported by text messenger for a large desepcion have to keep waiting.
At present only AOL and MSN networks are supported. The rest are still in preparation. Regarding the VoIP, I could only try it on my Tungsten E2, which has no microphone or wifi, so I do not got to prove, it is likely to be still on track as well.
use as my hotmail account with this program? I have to take into account a gizmo?
PS: the agile messenger is not for palm OS ... At least your site so it says ... There will be some expert who will have mercy on answering these questions?
(PS: go with a blazer to the next dir: wap.tjat.com is a msn online batante decent, is updated every 15 seconds. And if you use a tx, and not off the aforementioned programs, is a great option, But now, if you use GPRS, as best bajenle frequency)
