Let the new Palm as a 'hard reset' nondestructive

Once again MrAnderson us obsequia with one of his posts helpful. In this case it is making a hard reset, we know that as recently as Palm leaves the factory output, but without the problem of losing all the information and programs we have installed since the purchase.

Ultimately, a method to leave only the necessary files on the Palm, and thus eliminate the remnants of uninstalled and temporary files that are generated on a daily basis, bringing our Palm will have more free space in memory, and will run faster in general. MrAnderson has filled the tutorial screen shots so we do not have any problem in the footsteps. In his own words:

Anyone who has a Palm knows that it is sometimes necessary to do a hard reset to clean all those libraries that were not inadvertently uninstalled or applications that produce and conflicts that are hindering the proper functioning of our device.

But it is also true that we do not want to lose information from the basic Palm applications, also known as PIM, such as Calendar, Contacts, Memo, Quick Notes, Tasks, etc.. Certainly the rest of the applications can re-synchronize and install them, but to not lose information from these applications must perform a procedure that is not difficult, but needs to be done correctly.

A procedure, performed once in a while, keep our cool Palm PDA or smartphone and trouble free. MrAnderson advances that soon will write a post on tools uninstall undoubtedly the best way to make this hard reset nondestructive required much less often.

Published: Juan Carlos Martin us recommends an alternative method that involves removing a single file of the PDA, but then you have to reconfigure our preferences. It is best to try both to see what we prefer.
