Vintage modding: 8Mb of RAM on a Palm III, Palm Pilot, PalmV, M100, Visor ...

Mixed moding and collectibles is what we find on this page which explains how to install 8Mb of RAM on a Palm III, a model that works brings only 2Mb.

The Palm III comes with PalmOS 3 and 2Mb of memory. Were made from two types of memory module. To know which is installed in a given apparatus, we can visit this page. If wearing the "new" DRAM modules can be modified to have up to 8Mb. If you take the old type SRAM modules can only be up to 4Mb.
