The Tungsten PDA broadens horizons
In the last post I have presented the new partner of the Tungsten E2, with which I began the journey of this blog. This is a HTC P3300, a computer instead of using PalmOS as Windows Mobile operating system.
As you can guess for all he has written on the blog, my experience with the Tungsten E2 can say that teams with PalmOS are excellent, with many strengths and some weaknesses, but ultimately that can cover thousands of needs, such as reads the definition of this blog: "If you still think you are worth just pointing to events as a calendar, you better keep reading." There are countless joys that I have this team, with a total value for someone like me very confused.
And now, after some time with the HTC, I am happy to say that Windows Mobile, from my experience, are also very good, and I can recommend without any doubt.

The evolution has been eager Windows CE 1.0
It has been a joy to see how, over time, one heavy and unstable operating system has given way to something with a different approach to the PalmOS, is usable on a daily basis and covers a range of needs, not necessarily the same as that cover the palm.
And it is that competition is something that always beneficial to consumers. Able to choose between teams with Palm OS or Windows Mobile is a great luxury, as is able to choose teams Symbian, MacOS, or when they appear, based Android, Nova or Linux. It would be very sad to have a single option, which tried to cover the needs and tastes from around the world at a time. Most likely no one will be satisfied.
On the other hand, in my beginnings as a user of Windows Mobile, I have found in the forums and websites devoted to the subject a community wide open, ready to help, with infinite desire to experiment and take these teams to their maximum potential, just like I did when I started in the Palm world. Thoughtful minds that create new applications every week very powerful, including many free services, which are leading the Windows Mobile platform at a very high level.
Therefore, I think the community "palm" and "ppcera" are but two sides of the pool, the lovers of PDAs and smartphones, and deserve respect and support from one to another. Only mutual understanding will allow a maximum utilization of the capacities of all because the palm community has a lot of experience to contribute, and ppcera are keen to demonstrate its value.
As the only path is made by walking, I have decided that the Tungsten PDA is a meeting place for all lovers of smart phones and PDAs Palm and Windows Mobile, because it really all topics covered here are applicable to both worlds. I will therefore that the content is useful for everyone, both in the new sections like the existing ones. The latter will take time, but I hope to reach a successful conclusion.
Be as welcome to the new Tungsten PDA, which is the usual, but starting with utility for most readers, as is deepening in this world of Windows Mobile.
And of course, as always, your comments and views are welcome.

Congratulations on your HTC are excellent devices, for something Palm chose to HTC to produce the Treo Pro. He has a tremendous screen the size of the TX. You got it with WM5 or can be upgraded to WM6?

and eagerly hope to see the first impressions with your HTC, its performance, efficiency and speed ... it depends on my next purchase Marcos. But I hope to bring WM 6 that second one is more stable.
What good is not close to a single OS or say no because this is better than this for it ... that expand your view, mine, and the indoor palmeros and pocketpeceros.

frameworks very good choice, but having seen the specifications of your new gadget, the WM is not heavy for such a pda phone? digaamos ke is the E2 of htc jjejej, intrigues me the screen, the WM5 and the battery ... ke jejje clear this will have higher returns on drums, but it makes me pesadisimo.
greetings
@ pp:
The HTC Touch, the super-sales right now of HTC, has exactly the same processor at 201MHz, like many other teams HTC. It is a design decision that will finally have changed in the Diamond and other equipment.
