8 ways to access your mail as "Gmail does not work"
I acknowledge that I fully trust Gmail to manage my mail. Since I use I have not having to worry about him I never spam, you can access it from anywhere, connect to IMAP, Thunderbird folders replicate on their labels, etc.. However, to not depend entirely on your service, I keep updated on the Thunderbird mail for offline access. But many people do not do this, and only now access their email through the Web interface.
Enrique Dans is another Gmail-addict, and has felt that feeling of helplessness when Gmail's servers are down. Therefore, we recommend this list of eight ways of accessing your Gmail messages when the dreaded "Service Unavailable" appears. Step to translate below.

What to do when we find this to go to Gmail
- Safe Mode: http://mail.google.com/mail/?labs=0. Disable the Google Labs experimental features, if any is causing the problem. Some of these features can be disabled through the options page of the account.
- Safe Mode: https: / / mail.google.com /. Encrypts communication between our computer and Google's servers. Useful for use on public computers, WiFi networks or when going through a proxy. There is an option that automatically redirects the normal URL to the secure version ( "Always use HTTPS).
- Old version: http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=1. This version was replaced in October 2007 during a redesign of Google, but it is a bit faster than today.
- Basic Mode: http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=html. It is the version that uses JavaScript, so it loads faster and works better with older browsers. Unfortunately, many features are lost Gmail (contacts autocomplete, chat, spell checker, rich text) and each click reload the entire page. If you prefer this version, click on "Putting basic HTML as default view" that goes to load Gmail.
- Mobile Mode: http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=html or http://m.gmail.com. It is the simplified version of Gmail for mobile phones that has even less functionality than the basic mode. Use it if no other Gmail mode works for you.
- IPhone Mode: http://mail.google.com/mail/x/gdlakb-/gp/. A more usable for the iPhone and other computers that use WebKit based browsers.
- IGoogle Gadget: http://www.google.com/ig/gmailmax. This is the view of Gmail gadget's canvas can be found in the new iGoogle. Some people found that this interface bypasses many corporate filters that prevent access Gmail from work.
- Mode not check the browser "http://mail.google.com/mail?nocheckbrowser. If you use a super-new browser and Gmail serves you the basic HTML mode, try this URL to bypass the detection of the browser.
If none of these methods coseguís access, you better have a little patience and put a candle to Saint Google.
